There are various role cards in the game, Mafia, a role-playing game where players take on characters suspected of being linked to the Mafia. Players are divided into two teams: the Mafia and honest citizens. The goal of the honest citizens is to uncover the Mafia's identity before they get eliminated. Role descriptions:

• Mafia: One to three participants can hold this card, depending on the total number of players. Their aim is to eliminate innocent citizens and deflect suspicions away from themselves and their allies.
• Civilians: Their number is unlimited, and they must identify the members of the Mafia.
• Doctor: Only one Doctor can be present in each game. As implied by the name, this role allows the player to heal those targeted for elimination.
• Sheriff: This role is unique in each game, held by only one player. The Sheriff's duty is to investigate other players, with potential assistance from a host.
• Prostitute: Introduced into the game on the second night, this peaceful character can select any player of their choice once awakened during play.
• Maniac: This character chooses a target for elimination every night.
• Don: A Mafia member who holds the right to vote.

The game offers various payment plans:
